Ivan Gauci

With a strong foundation in both strategic marketing and intellectual property management, I bring a unique combination of commercial insight, sector-specific and digital expertise to the world of growth marketing for IP professionals. Before founding weareip, I built my marketing experience across telecoms, travel and tourism, and FMCG - gaining a practical understanding of brand positioning, customer behaviour, communication strategy and business development across competitive markets.

In 2014, I transitioned into the intellectual property field, where I served as Deputy Director at the Malta Intellectual Property Office before joining the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), gaining valuable experience across customer experience, business development, marketing research, stakeholder engagement and IP awareness campaigns within the European IP ecosystem.

Today, together with the weareip team, I specialise in helping IP professionals, IP firms and IP-focused organisations use LinkedIn as a strategic channel for growth marketing and business development. Additionally, I provide strategic LinkedIn training and guidance to IP professionals and firms together with fractional CMO support, whilst taking a personal interest in every client relationship, ensuring each strategy is tailored to each client’s goals, scale and market position.
